Relaxing Venice tour begins with a general overview of Venice’s highlights. Walking through the  Square of St. Mark you will learn about all its magnificent buildings.  The Doge’s Palace was the seat of the government when Venice was an independent State. The Bridge of Sighs  links the palace to the New Prison, dates from 16th C. The Campanile (Bell Tower) dominates the Square from its 300 feet. You will admire the beautiful Clock Tower with its impressive dial, and the outstanding Basilica of St. Mark. Entering the Basilica (skipping the line!) you’ll be amazed by the  mosaics and the especially relevant Golden Screen (Pala d’Oro).

Leaving the crowd behind, strolling about the narrow alleys, you will see the non-touristy areas of the city. While enjoying its outstanding architecture, you will explore some of the nooks and crannies of Venice.
