Description

Our Standard Transfer to Venice Car Terminal  offers the service of a fully licensed private water taxi to take you from your hotel, or apartment, in Venice to Venice Car terminal. In Venice the equivalent of  a limousine is a water taxis. All Venice water taxis  have a cabin with at least 10 comfortable covered  seats as well as some open-air seats in the back. Our Venice Transfer from the hotel to the car terminal is a  relaxing boat ride through the maze of canals and the Grand Canal, and this is the best way to say goodbye to our beautiful City.

If your hotel has a private jetty your water taxi will meet you there to pick you up at the requested time. The taxi driver will chauffeur you up the canals of Venice, and will drop you off at the dock of Venice Car Terminal.

PLEASE NOTICE: Many  hotels in Venice don’t have a door along a canal accessible to water taxi, and some hotels aren’t by a canal. Should this be the case of your hotel, your taxi will pick you up at the closest dock, and since the driver cannot leave the boat unguarded, please ask the hotel staff to take you to the boat.

THE PRICE OF A VENICE TRANSFER FROM HOTEL TO VENICE CAR TERMINAL INCLUDES:

  • the service of a private water taxi

PLEASE NOTICE:

An additional charge is applied for transfers to and from hotels located along the inner canals of the city, or on the islands away from the city center

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Porter service at Venice Car Terminal: porters are usually by the water taxi dock

The Rialto Market: Venice’s Most Authentic Experience. History, Food and the City’s Living Soul

There are two ways to spend a morning in Venice. The first is to join the flow of visitors moving from the station towards St Mark’s Square — through the Lista di Spagna, across the Scalzi bridge, along the Strada Nova — in a procession that reaches the Piazza by mid-morning and disperses into queues […]

The Best Time to Visit Venice: A Complete Season-by-Season Guide

There is no wrong time to visit Venice. This is one of the few travel clichés that is actually true — the city rewards visitors in every season, and each period of the year offers a version of Venice that is impossible to experience at any other time. The fog-softened silences of January. The blossom-scented […]

Murano, Burano and Torcello: A Complete Guide to Venice’s Three Extraordinary Islands

Most visitors to Venice know that Murano, Burano and Torcello exist. They appear on every tourist map, they feature in every guidebook, and the boats that serve them depart throughout the day from the Fondamente Nove and from San Zaccaria. But there is a significant difference between knowing these islands exist and actually understanding what […]
