Description

Our Standard Transfer to Venice Car Terminal  offers the service of a fully licensed private water taxi to take you from your hotel, or apartment, in Venice to Venice Car terminal. In Venice the equivalent of  a limousine is a water taxis. All Venice water taxis  have a cabin with at least 10 comfortable covered  seats as well as some open-air seats in the back. Our Venice Transfer from the hotel to the car terminal is a  relaxing boat ride through the maze of canals and the Grand Canal, and this is the best way to say goodbye to our beautiful City.

If your hotel has a private jetty your water taxi will meet you there to pick you up at the requested time. The taxi driver will chauffeur you up the canals of Venice, and will drop you off at the dock of Venice Car Terminal.

PLEASE NOTICE: Many  hotels in Venice don’t have a door along a canal accessible to water taxi, and some hotels aren’t by a canal. Should this be the case of your hotel, your taxi will pick you up at the closest dock, and since the driver cannot leave the boat unguarded, please ask the hotel staff to take you to the boat.

THE PRICE OF A VENICE TRANSFER FROM HOTEL TO VENICE CAR TERMINAL INCLUDES:

  • the service of a private water taxi

PLEASE NOTICE:

An additional charge is applied for transfers to and from hotels located along the inner canals of the city, or on the islands away from the city center

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Porter service at Venice Car Terminal: porters are usually by the water taxi dock

Venice for Foodies: The Complete Guide to Venetian Cuisine

Venetian cuisine is one of the most underestimated regional food traditions in Italy — overshadowed in the popular imagination by the pizza of Naples, the pasta of Bologna and the simplicity of Tuscan cooking, despite being arguably more distinctive than any of them. This is partly a problem of geography: Venice’s food culture is genuinely […]

Venice Hidden Gems: 25 Places, Experiences and Masterpieces That Most Visitors Never Find

The tourist Venice and the real Venice are the same city separated by about 500 metres. The tourist route runs from the train station to St Mark’s Square via the Strada Nova and the Rialto — a corridor of extraordinary monuments, gift shops and tourist restaurants through which millions of people pass each year without […]

The Venice Gondola Ride: A Complete, Honest Guide to Everything You Need to Know

There is no vessel more associated with Venice than the gondola. It appears on every postcard, in every film set in the city, in the imagination of every visitor before they arrive. It is simultaneously the most iconic image in Venetian tourism and, for many visitors, the experience about which they have the most uncertainty: […]
